Daylight savings time is this weekend, so remember to set your clocks ahead one hour when you go to bed Saturday night. This is also a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors.  If you have a 9 volt battery operated smoke detector take out the old battery and replace it with a new one. Having a working smoke detector is vital especially in a situation when seconds count.  Not to mention it is required for rental properties in the Iowa City area.
